Apple coathangers

AAAAAjsuTv4AAAAAABr6mg.jpg

This happens every morning at our house…in the scramble to get the kids off to school, for some reason, backpacks and sweaters or coats go missing as we find ourselves running late and I becoming completely discheveled and scattered, my nerves frayed, clutching, white-knuckled, that third cup of coffee. I always tell myself I’ll get the kids some hooks to hang their stuff on when coming home each afternoon - you know, a habitual place that makes it easy for everyone involved to know where important things are. In my kids’ case, the important things are their school bags for sure. These apple coathangers by Pakhuis Oost are perfect for us since we have three kids and can give one to each in a different color, hang them side by side, and assign one hook for the coat, the other for the school bag. Made of laminated patterned paper atop a red base, they can be found at Rose and Radish for $23 a piece.
