Jen Corace Letterpress Prints

corace2.jpg

When I was little I used to wish that I could make myself small like an elf or a gnome, and go on mini adventures in the woods. I pictured myself making a cozy home in the hollow of an old stump, with moss as my welcome mat, a milkweed pod as my bed, and an acorn as my bowl.

Perhaps artist Jen Corace had similar fantasies, which her adult self realized in the form of these charming prints. Letterpressed on fine cotton watercolor paper, the fine embossing lends a wonderful textured and dimension to the work. Every piece from this 125, limited edition run is signed, numbered and dated by the artist. At $50 each or $80 for the pair, they're a wonderful way to indulge your child's flights of fancy.
