Junior Tradesman - teaching real-life skills

junior_tradesman.jpg

Forget building blocks or Lego - Junior Tradesman is the real thing. These kits enable a child to build a house, a garage, or anything else they fancy, just as they are built in the real world. You start with the paper blueprints, mix the mortar, and lay the bricks.

I certainly would have loved these when I was a child. I imagine they also give new insight into urban surroundings: having built a miniature house or garage, kids will be keen to see the same processes in real life. And how nice to give them a toy that is both fun, and teaches them about how the world works.

There's just one difference between a Junior Tradesman construction and a real one, and that's the fact that the bricks can be dissolved in water, allowing you to start again. So, if you're not content with your first construction, you can try again until you're happy.
