Restful sounds from the Marble Tree

marble tree

Plink! Plonk! Plink!

Isn't it wonderful when children's toys create a nice, restful sound? I speak as someone who regularly stumbles over a toy in the night only to hear an electronic mish-mash of nursery rhymes. It beats me why toy manufacturers think that's what children want to hear, and I know I don't.

All of which may go some way to explain why the Sounding Marble Tree is Beyond the Rainbow's best selling toy. It's a marble run, but cleverly constructed so that each wooden 'leaf' makes a different, and perfectly-pitched, note as the marble falls on it. Ah, marvellous! Just the kind of background noise I like.
