Roll-top chairs by Simon Maidment

This is what is commonly known, I believe, as a big fat swizz. Simon Maidment, designer of these eminently desirable toddler seats, was born in London. He's one of us Brits. His work is on display in the Vitra Design museum in Germany. Germany, Europe. Yet are they available to buy in Europe? Not that I can see.

So for now, we'll have to do without a good-looking bench that doubles as a toy-box, no matter how much we like it. And we like it.
