SaraBear diaper caddies

sarabear.jpg

I had totally forgotten how many diapers a newborn goes through in a day, but now that the baby is here, I find myself changing A LOT of diapers, including the dreaded, in-the-dark-night time changes where I'm bumbling around trying to find all the stuff without waking anybody up. We've got little piles of diaper supplies, burp cloths and those nose suckers lying around here and there, so I totally get the tagline of the SaraBear company - "Because life with baby happens in every room of the home". The founder of the company came up with her idea for her diaper caddies after having survived months of colic with her daughter. She needed all the essential baby gear close at hand, and so, the design of the caddies was born.

Now you may think that a normal basket with liner will do the same job (which is what I have all around the house) and of course it can, but I do have to say that having these compartments and pockets that are perfectly sized for diapers, wipes and tubes would help. As it is, all my stuff gets quickly disorganized which becomes irritating since I end up digging around for what I need. The handle would also be, well, handy when you want to quickly grab the whole thing to bring to where your baby is.

The diaper caddy comes in a variety of fabrics and 2 different basket finishes and would really make a lovely gift for any new mom.

Great post. I've worked with Melissa, the owner, for some time. She has developed new fabrics, a better basket and it now comes in super handsome, incredibly easy to wrap and ship packaging.
Ahem, and I'd be lying if I didn't say the kid in the pictures is adorable, as it's my daughter Avery.
A great gift just got better. Also, in '08 she'll be donating a portion of all proceeds to PSI- postpartum support international.
