This colorful but terrifying chest of drawers will...be distinctive?

I love finding furniture that looks different, slightly skewed, or is at least interesting enough for you to stop and take a closer look. People either love them or they hate them and I think that's better than furniture you look at once and forget, don't you? Take for instance the chest of drawers from Genius Jones. At first blush they remind me of something from Beetlejuice - remember the scene when all the bad art goes crazy?

The piece looks almost insectile, and while I find it delightfully disturbing, I just can't see putting it in the room with my children. I would be scared it would come to life in the middle of the night and I would wake up to find a slightly plumper chest of drawers, but short one kid. Or maybe the metal arms would be wrapped around little Ivy's head. It's the stuff of nightmares, I tell you, but it is scarily cute.
