A personalised message of love: Grace's Blankets

gallery2l.jpg

When I was little, my grandmother gave me a blanket as a kind of reward for getting over chicken pox. I loved that blanket, even though, in retrospect, I can see that it was a cheap and nylony affair with a really quite ugly elephant pattern. The point was, I suppose, that it had been chosen by my gran.

Now you can give your children something to treasure, safe in the knowledge that they won't have the same negative stylistic revelation once they hit adulthood. Grace's Blankets is a small company offering exquisite personalised blankets. There's no nylon here. Yes, some of the designs feature elephants, but they're a world away from my vulgar ones.

Apparently new designs are regularly introduced and old ones retired, ensuring a degree of exclusivity. I love the red and white hearts design in the image gallery, and I look forward to seeing what's coming next.
