Animal Scissors

scissors50401.jpg

I'm not really sure when I'll trust the toddler with a pair of scissors (and I know she's itching to try them), but when I do, I might just have to get these fun animal scissors. Yup, it seems that incorporating animal graphics into any common object makes anything cute, and these are no exception. Plus the rounded, stainless steel tips seem pretty safe (though I have to admit I'm always surprised by how any object - toy, utensil, household objects - can become objects of mischief and destruction in the hands of a toddler). Another cool thing about these scissors? They work for both left-handed users as well as for righties, so if your kid is anything like mine, she can continue to experiment with ambidexterity.

Available at Spoon Sisters.
