Life lessons are everywhere - even in the humble coat hook

duck hook

What I like best about this coat hook from Dutch designer Babette is that it doesn't have a straight line to its name. In fact, it looks like it was drawn by a child. That's quite a skill, making something look genuinely child-like, but still appealing. Plus I like the wider message it'd send out to your child, which is that things don't always have to be perfectly rendered to look good. Go ahead! Colour outside the lines now and again!

There's also a cow and a pig in the same series.
