Foldaway bath - good for travel, great for storage

foldaway bath

Our baths these days are splashy affairs in the family tub, but I do remember the early dips in the baby bath, in front of the fire, with misty eyes. How we loved our baby's ruddy cheeks and her surprised expression as we undressed her. How careful we were, as new parents, testing the temperature of the water diligently, gently lowering her in. Now, of course, we just sling her in with a load of toys, and stand back while the splashing starts.

Here's a nifty idea from JoJo Maman Bébé, which will allow you to experience all the joys of baby baths even when you go away. This bath folds flat - that's great for storage, too.

And there's more to it than that - the same hinge that allows it to fold also facilitates a range of positions, so when your baby is very young, he can be supported with a gentle incline. You can gradually tilt it back as baby grows - thus raising your chances of happy bathtub memories, rather than screamy ones. Ah, bathtime.
