Happy new year!

Happy 2007! Thanks to all our readers for checking out Babygadget during our first year. We've grown from one single, lonely blogger (myself) to a team of very talented and resourceful writers, and we plan on bringing you even more innovative, cool and fun products to check out in 2007. On a personal note, it's been an eventful year as well. I've gone from a miscarriage early in the year, to delivering a healthy baby girl in November, with all the "fun" pregnancy stuff inbetween. I ended the year with a terrible car accident coming home from Christmas last week, and while the 4 of us were miraculously able to walk away from our totaled car with hardly a scratch, it will likely remain one of those pivotal moments you remember as a parent - the terrifying moment when you turn around, after shaking off the impact of the airbags and realizing you're alive, to see what happened to the kids in the backseat. It's a scene that I've replayed over and over in my head during the past week. You never know what a year will bring and that's part of life, isn't it? But hopefully 2007 will be happy and healthy for us all. Hug your kids. Be well, be safe.
