Lumilove lights spread love all through the night

OK, I admit it – the Hello Kitty, Miffy, Doraemon-loving side of me was drawn to these Lumilove nightlights. But, as it happens, there's some clever thinking behind that ultra-cute façade.
Unlike many standard nightlights, these have no wires to plug in. There are no batteries and it doesn't get hot, so you don't need to worry if your child gets hold of it. You just charge it up, and it will softly change colour for up to eight hours, providing a reassuring presence should your tot awaken in the night. They can also be quite safely carried if, say, your child needs to negotiate a dark corridor.

I love this concept - but when I followed the web link (and did some searching on the web) I found these lights are only available in the UK. Bummer! My son is fascinated by electricity (eek) and the idea of a wireless night light has huge appeal during this phase.

Shame!
If you really want them, I note that BabyWorld, also a UK stockist, will quote on an individual basis for worldwide shipping.
Or might it be worth contacting a similar stockist in the US and tipping them off?
