Mobo chair

Of course, it's the Stokke TrippTrapp that was the first to promise a chair you could use from babyhood and all the way to adult life. But if you happen not to like their z-shaped lines, here's another contender that might appeal.

The Mobo chair has a rather lovely cartoony look to it, largely lent by those clodhopping rubber hooves. They're also, presumably, what provide it with its stability.

Just like the Tripp Trapp, seat, back and footrest can all be adjusted to suit your growing child - or teenager (incidentally, the picture above is supposed to show the various positions - it's not actually triple-backed). In the end, if it were a choice between the two, I think it'd have to come down to a personal preference over looks - the price is much the same, at 174 Euros. The only other thing that gives the Mobo a slight edge is that you don't need any tools to make the adjustments. So, if it's an easy life you're after, and you wish all furniture could have feet like Mickey Mouse, the Mobo's for you.
