Moda Furniture

Room and Board has a new line of kids' furniture called the Moda line. I'm really keen on the white lacquer/wood combination as of late, so I'm really drawn to these pieces, particularly the crib and dressers. The design is clean and no fuss - sharp, geometric lines with minimal hardware showcase the contrast of the white and solid maple materials.

The Moda bunk beds are equally handsome. The stark and dramatic white head and footboards are softened by a horizontal stripe of maple on either side and somehow maintain an airy feel despite the solidness of the end pieces. But of course, as it seems with all things of great design, it comes with a price.

I've always thought R&B had very fair prices especially when you consider the high quality. Here in Minneapolis, there's the only R&B outlet store in the world, and they had that bunk bed when I went through there on Saturday for a good chunk off retail, in case that helps. I'd buy it, but we only have one kid.

Actually I agree, and have a few pieces from Room and Board myself - and the shipping can't be beat - even cheaper than Ikea! I thought the prices on these were a little bit steep though. I am jealous you have an outlet!!
