Well, they must have realised they were missing out on a large market sector (because no-one with a young baby stays up late reading - sleep's far too precious). The pitch is fair enough: it'll help you see in those middle-of-the-night nappy changing or feeding sessions, when it's a good idea to keep the main lights low and teach your baby the difference between night and day. But if you already have a book-light, dig that out instead. It's the same blooming thing.
