Portable light - the essential baby gear you may already have

portable light

So here's an example of something that's been widely available for years, being remarketed as a necessity for parents. You know those little clip-on lights you can get, so you can stay up late reading books while your husband goes to sleep? Well, they must have realised they were missing out on a large market sector (because no-one with a young baby stays up late reading - sleep's far too precious). Thus the clip-on light now appears on baby sites such as Blooming Marvellous.

The pitch is fair enough: it'll help you see in those middle-of-the-night nappy changing or feeding sessions, when it's a good idea to keep the main lights low and teach your baby the difference between night and day. But if you already have a book-light, dig that out instead. It's the same blooming thing.
