Safeclip

Everyone who has a toddler knows that they get into everything. Every button must be pushed; every surface must be probed. Hence the term, "childproofing." But what to do if your child is constantly pressing the seatbelt release button? Fortunately for me, I have a new car with a clip specially designed for car seats; its under the seat back, making it virtually impossible for my son to release. But for those without this feature, it seems to me that this simple devise could be a lifesaver.

In fact, that's exactly what inspired it. Mom Kerry Williams and her son were in an accident, fortunately after she'd stopped to reattach her son's belt. But it got her thinking and researching. After finding nothing, she did what so many moms have had to do from time immemorial. She designed something herself. The result is the simple, and oh so affordable, solution. Simply slip it onto the belt. Safeclip is easily accessed from the side by the parent, but provides an impenetrable barrier for a child's groping paws. Thank God someone's paying attention to these matters!

Does anyone know of a US website that carries this product?

I searched myself before writing the post. Couldn't find anything under "safeclip," but you're inquiry has prompted me to look again. Here's one thing I found, though can't vouch for it. http://www.buysellcommunity.com/sale/ACJUTDKF/
