Radpads: baby-proof just a little bit more

There are two schools of thought when it comes to baby-proofing your home: either you cover up every sharp corner and put locks on the cupboard doors, or you take the lazy route, do nothing, and justify your stance by telling everyone your kid has to learn to live in the real world. Guess which route we took?
For those of you who are a little more zealous about protecting your child from the unseen dangers around the house (and, really, I know I should be less flippant. Most accidents do happen in the home), the makers of Radpads would like you to ponder the following question: would you leave your child alone in a room with a metal box full of boiling water? For that is what a heated radiator is - yet while we obsessively plug electric outlets and muffle slamming doors, how many of us give radiators a second thought?
The product comes in a range of colours and styles, most of them, I'm sorry to say, rather 1980s-garish. Thinks clowns, balloons, and primary colours. If your home is a showpiece of minimalism, you might want to go for the white version, shown above.
