Readymech paper toys

readymech.jpg

Not much in life is free these days, so pardon me if I get a little too excited about the Readymech series of toys. They're quirky, colorful, sometimes cute, and sometimes even a little ghoulish, but all free for download. All you need is a color printer, some scissors, glue or tape and a little time.

They're probably not intended for kids, but given how the toddler gets excited over those subscription postcards that flutter out of magazines (among other mundane things) I'm betting she'll flip over these colorful paper creations. Makes a great indoor activity too, and with cold weather finally settling here in NYC for what seems like the first time this year...I'm looking for ways to pass the time indoors. Perfect!
