RECALL - Baby Bjorn Feeding Spoons!

Don't know about you, but I am a big fan of Baby Bjorn products. I have been very satisfied with the infant carrier and bouncer, but I especially love the spoons with their bright colors, soft rubber end, and extra long handles. Therefore, I was distressed to learn of the recent voluntary recall by BabyBjorn. According to their website, BabySwede LLC received 11 reports from several European nations that after much use, the spoon end can come lose and break off. Though no actual injuries have been reported, this is obviously a potential choking hazard. (No one cases have been reported in the US.) BabySwede is issuing refunds for the retail price of the spoons, once they receive them back. Simply call BabySwede at 1 866-424-0200 to give them your information, and they will email a prepaid shipping label. I applaud BabyBjorn for taking such immediate action and for being so helpful. I only hope that they quickly come up with a new spoon that's not only safer, but has the same convenient features as the old one!
