Wee Woosh

childrenschina(1).jpg

As I’ve mentioned before, I have yet to figure out how to have a meal in one sitting with all of my kids at the table. It’s just not happening yet. I get up every two seconds it seems, much to my dismay, since I cook food lovingly for my family and would like to relax and enjoy it for once and with all of their little heads present and chewing away. I always end up eating alone or watching my husband eat alone as I kneel under the table to clean up. I have a goal, I suppose. However, I delight in setting an appealing table even if most of the food ends up on the floor, the walls, the dining chairs. And I really am keen on searching for, and perhaps, dare I say it, even collecting tableware for children. A new favorite, stocked by Rocket St. George and handmade by Leanne Rostron in Stoke-On-Trent (love that!), is the Wee Woosh (fine bone china…yikes!…) Collection. Get a peak here for a setting that includes the very Continental egg cup.

Ha! You make me laugh and I like reading your blog. I'm the last to sit down and eat and I get up every two minutes too.
