Woody Click - construction kits with style

woody click

See now, if I was an architect, buildings like this would be all over town and not just confined to toy shops. The Woody Click holiday home from Austrian company Matador is one of those toys that just delights adults and kids alike: the sense of fun and the modern look attract us grown-ups, while the robust pieces and simple shapes will appeal to the young ones.

As the name implies, all the parts simply click together through a system of pegs and evenly-spaced holes. I'm assuming there are multiple variations possible for each kit, depending on how you put them together.

If, like me, you have delusions of grandeur, you can buy a whole series of varying house designs and make your own town. My only question now is, when are they going to bring out full-size, real life versions of these? Woody Click - it'd be the ultimate in self-build.
