Crayola portrait sculptures

I’ve always been keen on the idea of having some type of portrait made of my three kids. Having a wonderfully talented photographer friend take their picture is an option, or having them sit for a painter friend might work if bribed, or maybe even sending off profile shots of their awfully sweet faces to a silhouette maker. These are all obvious choices, but I finally have found just the artist to create portraits to have forever. Diem Chau makes sculptures of the likeness of your child out of crayons, which is so wonderfully appropriate, and unusual, I just could not resist. All you need to do is send off good face shots with a description of a favored hairstyle and their fashion sense while picking colors from the 64-color Crayola box. The brighter colors work best, I've put in my order and can’t wait to get ours.

I contacted D Chau who was VERY nice and sent over her prices. (With respect to her pricing, you should contact her directly) The pricing was very affordable especially for what you get, and how you can really customize the final product-- Great Posting babygadget!!
