Get kids started with some good sling habits with the Kids Pouch

"Every little girl wants to be like their mother," Jess says after she hands me the link for the Hotslings Kids Pouch. Well, technically, she didn't hand me the link, she sent it over Instant Messenger. It's kind of freaky when we communicate that way while we're a few feet away, but that's what you get when you have a home office.

I do like this product; how a child treats their baby doll toys is a good way for them to get early nurturing skills. I'm not thrilled with the idea of wearing Ivy in the sling while she's wearing a sling that has Ariel in it. Yes, I wear slings. You put up with a lot of guys looking at you funny, but it's worth it when you find the one Dad that gives you the thumbs-up.

Maybe I'll buy one of these for Luke, and help to make the next generation of males sling-friendly. It certainly couldn't hurt, he could carry around his Star Wars Transformer. Now if only we could find good adult slings for $15...
