Celery Lullaboo Cradle

I was first drawn to the Lullaboo cradle because it's quite pretty. I love the classic silhouette of the ends coupled with the modern twist on the sides. But upon reading further, this bassinet (which also comes with straight legs) revealed its beauty to be more than skin deep. For starters it's "green" (eco-friendly that is, not the color). Local artisans in Bozeman, Montana, craft these charming cradles from bamboo, using non-toxic adhesives and low-VOC finishes. The accompanying mattress is made of natural latex and water resistant organic wool. Yadda, yaddya. Ok here's the kicker. It's easy to assemble. Like so many parents, the designers at Celery Furniture had had enough of complicated diagrams and impossible instructions. Ergo they designed something simple. In fact, this wonderful back-to-basics cradle requires no hardware at all. Simply use the mallet provided to assemble the mortise and tenon joinery. If this makes you a little nervous about safety, the company assures that in many ways their design exceeds industry standards. Convinced? Well, there is one tiny little thing, the price. If you're still unfazed be sure to check out Celery's gorgeous options for cribs, changing tables, rocking horses and more.
