Marisa Haedike - adorable, affordable, art

LA artist Marisa Haedike has done what many of us wish we could. She quit her day job and returned to the thing that gave her the most joy as a child. For Marisa this was painting. The result is a wonderful collection that, though sophistocated in its own way, definitly indulges the inner child.
Marisa's whimsical originals are acrylic on wood, often with mixed media elements such as pencil, crayon, or pastels. Each diminutive portrait (usually under 10" x10"), comes ready to hang, no framing needed. A member of the "day painter" movement, Marisa paints and posts a new work online nearly every day. So keep checking until you find your heart's desire. Each sells for about $100 - $135, making them rather affordable for "real art." At that price you might even treat yourself (I mean your child) to more than one.
