Squidsoap makes clean hands fun

To be clear, I usually run screaming in the other direction when I see the words "as seen on TV" on any product. But getting kids in the habit of washing their hands and brushing their teeth and other hygienic things are important, and when I see a product that seems like it would help Luke and Ivy move in that direction, it's worth a second glance in my humble opinion. This is why I like SquidSoap, although the name and the fact that the soap is coming out of the squid is already pretty cute.
A small dot of "ink" is left on your hand when you dispense the soap and you simply wash your hands until the ink washes away; this amount of time being the optimal hand-washing time. That's the theory at least, but anything that makes hand washing more interactive and fun is a good thing.

You are helping your kids stay healthy by teaching them why they should WASH THEIR HANDS and other simple health habits. Check out an entertaining picture book - Impatient Pamela Learns About Germs. Written by Sarah Overland and illustrated by Aaron Conway, it received the Seal of Approval from The National Parenting Center. An international public health expert wrote the book’s Foreword, saying “Pamela rules!” Look for the book at your local bookstore, or contact the publisher directly at 800-513-0115.
