The Duetta Cribmate is for twins. And that seems to be it's selling point

Let's start off by saying that this crib is over $2,000. That's fine, I think it's worth it to pay for design, but what is it about this product that speaks to twins, other than the fact it's doubled? It's even modular so you can add more sections if you have more than two children, but I just get the sense that they're charging you to pay for the fact that the crib is set up specially for twins.

The whole thing feels gimmicky to me, and it's not that attractive. I wonder if I'd feel differently if I had twins? As it stands, it seems like a better choice to just get one bigger crib or two less expensive ones and simply push them together. I don't mind a high price tag, I just think this is pushing it.
