The Moderntots sample sale this weekend is dangerous for my wallet

Most people spend the early months of the new year recuperating from holiday spending and resting their wallets. We have a few major birthdays a few weeks after the holidays in our household so the spending continues well into February. I look froward to March when I can finally go back to our budget. So what is it about sample sales that seem to throw this whole sensible plan off? Sarah from Moderntots just emailed to say that they are having a sample sale February 23-25 in their newly opened Brooklyn showroom to make room for Spring arrivals - 40% off select merchandise including cribs, bassinets, dressers, changing tables, table & chair sets, rugs, clothing, diaper bags, bouncy seats, and toys. Hmmm...so tempting...I did just have a new baby...and the toddler might need a few things...I've been meaning to check out their new space anyway...maybe I'll just take a peek.

The ModernTots showroom is located at 53 Pearl St., Ground Floor, DUMBO, Brooklyn NY and is open on Tuesdays-Saturdays from 11am-6pm and from 12pm-4pm Sunday.
