Velour food

There's something about toy food that I find just irresistible. Not content with ordering a crate-full of Haba wooden fruit and veg for our daughter's last birthday (to go with the wooden kitchen we had hoped to buy; just don't ask), I now find myself lusting after this set of velour food from the Great Little Trading Company. It's possibly the Mad Hatter vibe that's doing it for me on this one: just look at those insane sandwiches!

So: we have a toy-room packed floor-to-ceiling with play food. Of course, abiding by the Law of Toddlers, Tabitha has no interest in it whatsoever. But never mind that - I can play 'picnic' for hours.
