Baby, mix me a drink

I admit that an awful lot of rubbish is spoken about what babies can comprehend at an early age - mostly by their proud mamas and papas. So half of me thinks that Baby, Mix Me a Drink from Dave Eggers' project McSweeney's is spot on.
Let's face it, they say, when your little one is under two, they're into shapes and colors and hearing you talk, so you might as well amuse yourself as well as them.
Absolutely true, and the joke continues, with other examples in the series being Baby, Do My Banking, and Baby, Fix My Car. Nonetheless, the straight-laced side of me is proving hard to repress here. I mean, what if the health visitor saw it?!

A friend gave this to my wife and I, we still laugh over it.
I purposely left it out when my sister-in-law came for a visit. She almost called the police on us.

And my mother-in-law comes to visit the baby in 10 days. Maybe they can express ship it....
The linked website is out of stock, but all the books in the series are available directly from McSweeney's at store.mcsweeneys.net
