The toy baguette - a true sign of the times

As has been mentioned previously, we're rather fond of our toy food here at Babygadget. Forgive me, then, for bringing one more piece to your attention with this baguette.

It calls to me for a couple of reasons. First, the bread has magnets on it so it will snap into one or two pieces. My daughter already has a Velcro sausage that she delights in 'slicing up', so I'm sure this would be just as much of a hit.

Then, it's just so 'now'. I don't know about you, but in my day, baguettes weren't such a common foodstuff, so the very idea of a toddler playing with one amuses me. Whatever next? Toy cappuccinos? Toy bruschetta?
