Boot booties

blackboot280.jpg

Now that we're all clean cut and corporate, my husband often laments the loss of those two young hipsters who met in Seattle at the height of the grunge era so many years ago. So in answer to that longing, I'm pretty sure our next kid will sport a pair of these.

Fashioned by Pacific Northwest (of course!) artist Heather Drum, these adorable booties are tailor made for the baby of any parent looking to recapture their punk edge. Each pair is hand-crotched of soft acrylic and is machine washable. They're available for pre-walking, petit punks only, sizes 0-6 months.

If you were more country, granola or sporty than grunge in your 20s, don't fret. Heather has plenty of adorable styles for you. Choose from pink cowgirl boots, Birkenstocks or hockey skates.
