Filou High Chair

high chair.jpg

High chairs have certainly come a long way. I know because I use an antique hand-me-down in my summer cottage. It certainly goes with the classic decor, but in terms of practicality, forget about it. Then advancements in functionality led us to the plastic high chair. Ugh. Need I say more?

So it is with great pleasure that I present another triumph of form and function, the Filou, by Geuther. Made of solid beech wood with sturdy red or natural finish, it's "robust and resilient." It also adjusts from high chair to child seat, so it will last from infant to teen. Unlike some baby objects, where you just can't wait to throw them out, this is one you might not mind having around for a long time. Heck it might even look good, and still function well, in your grandchild's kitchen.
