Foldschool - Design That's REALLY Within Reach

Ever wonder what to do with those old boxes after you move or once your new washer/dryer has been delivered. Well, if you have kids you don't, cause it's obvious that they can be recycled as forts, boats, dollhouses, etc. But say you have extra boxes or a strong need for creative kids seating. Well, you could turn your discarded cardboard into just that - funky furniture from Foldschool. Oh, and it's free! Yes, FREE!!!!! Swiss-based architect and designer Nicola Enrico Stäubli believes that design should return to its original mission "to provide a product at an affordable price through a smart manufacturing process." Therefore he created the patterns for making this furniture, which you can download off his site. All you need is the box and some time to construct it yourself. Stäubli’s creations are so avant guard, not to mention green, that you wont believe your only payment is a few hours hard work. In fact, you may even feel guilty for not paying. If so, Stäubli does accept donations to his worthy cause. Hey, it may be free, but the guy's gotta live.
