Popper Stopper?

My mother is always reminding me of how amazing the products for children and pregnancy are these days ("Look at that thing...we never had anything like this when you were kids...there are such smart people in this world inventing useful things"), but sometimes we come across products that just leave us scratching our heads. Now for the record, my belly button never really "popped" during both of my pregnancies so I suppose I might not fully understand how a popped belly button might get in the way of certain wardrobe choices, but I'm still a little speechless about the fact that a product like Popper Stoppers even exists.
Is it really that unattractive to have your popped belly button visible though your clothes? I guess somebody thought so because these disposable, paper-thin "stoppers" stick to your offending belly button to smooth your belly's appearance or "stop the pop". Okaaaay...

I had a "popped" belly button when I was pregnant, and besides it not being the coolest looking thing in the world, I was really sensitive to the material of my clothes rubbing on it.
I used a big square of medical tape to cover my button. It stopped the chafing and was cheap and easy to find in comparison to this specialty product.

When you're pregs, everyone wants to rub the belly. Have fun answering the "what is this?" questions all night.

Speaking as an 8.5 month pregnant woman with a majorly popped belly button that shows through just about every top I own, I do not care enough about it to try to tape it in. Although I haven't had the chafing issue mentioned by another. I'm far more concerned with how to get this baby to go ahead and pop out of me!

These are great! I have been using them for a couple of months now. I am tiny and "popped" early. I love wearing fitted tees, and these make everything smooth. Without these it can look like I have a third nipple and, for some reason, my belly button always seems to appear off-center. No one can feel these when they rub your belly because they are so thin - it's your little secret. They also don't hurt when you take them off. They are on the expensive side, but I use them sparingly. Look, anything that makes you feel great when you have a stomach approaching basketball size is a winner in my book.
