Diaper Valet

I admit I was less than enthused about carrying a diaper bag when #2 arrived after hauling one around (the skiphop, our workhorse) for years. So I've been stuffing diapers, binkies, and wipes in a larger handbag that I recently bought and well, it works, but there's something to be said about all the compartments and pockets that make a diaper bag convenient. I like the Skiphop Pronto, especially the new Denim model (ooh, niiiice), but since the bulk of the Pronto is actually the changing pad, it's a bit big and I find I can't shove much more than the essential few diapers and wipes.

MoMamas sent me a Diaper Valet, and I have to say, I find it really useful. The wipes case fits in a slot and wipes are accessible without having to take the case out, and there is more than enough room to hold 4-5 diapers, plus a burpcloth. I've also managed to stuff an extra outfit in the main compartment for those blowout poops. The bag is small - about the width and height of a diaper case - and it easily fits in any bag.

It comes with a thin changing mat and you have the option of adding a handle to make a sort of purse out of it, but I prefer it without. There are a number of fabrics to choose from, but it's not as stylish as the Skiphop Pronto - I wasn't in love with any of the fabric choices - but it's become something that I use almost everyday. In the end, that's really what counts.
