Wu's label Sun Moon Lake takes its name from twin lakes in mountainous central Taiwan, and her creations reflect the beauty and serenity of that region. For me, these lovely throws perfectly capture the art of "ancient/modern," which is my favorite style. Really it's all I can do not to lay down the $900 for a quilt for myself. Which, though it's a lot of dough, is not really expensive compared to many handcrafted quilts. (Can you hear the rationalization creeping in?)
