The Captain Rocket Dish Set, for when you want to eat in front of the radio

I keep promising myself I'll swear off my obsession with classically-styled science fiction pieces in my posts, but then something comes across my desk that I just can't say no to. The latest piece? The Liberty Garage Captain Rocket Dish Set. This seems like something you would find at a garage sale and the $18 price tag is low enough for an impulse buy, although I would probably want to display the plate next to my old Bradbury hardcovers instead of letting the kids eat off of them.

The set is dishwasher safe, but not intended for microwave use. You can't have everything I guess, but the design is definitely great.
