The Chirp Lampshade and Wise Owl Lamp Base: in other words, more birds

"No more birds!" I was putting my foot down this time. The living room is filled with birds. Jess' bag has birds on it. We recently bought some birdie artwork. There is a limit to how many birds a man should be exposed to in his home. We had reached that limit about five bird-items ago. This was too much.

"But hon," Jess cajoled, "this is a cute lamp at a great price. The Chirp Lamp Shade already fits with everything else we have, and you can get the owl base to make your own bird lamp! Both of them together are only $48! We have a Urban Outfitters right downtown!"

I know when I had been beaten. Lunch at our favorite spot and a short drive later, and there were two more bird items in the living. Will I ever tell her I think it's pretty cute too? I doubt it.
