I-Go Carrier

If this lady just had a baby then I'm Catherine of Russia! (Just had to get that out of the way. Maybe she's an aunt.) That said, the new I-Go Carrier from CYBEX, is a nifty little contraption. As many may have read, recent research suggests (or strongly claims) that babies should lie flat as much as possible during the first few months of life until their spinal columns are fully developed. We've seen car seats that accommodate this positioning. And now so does this innovative carrier. It's unique rotating design allows you to carry your infant horizontally for the first four months and then flip baby up to face in or out until he/she is one year old. I like the sleek look (read, orange color!!!) and am dying to try one to see if it's as safe and comfortable as CYBEX claims. CYBEX products are widely distributed in Europe. I've put a call into their offices to see where and when they might be available in the US. Will keep you posted.
