Knoppa Hanging Crib

KN01_1l.jpg

Ignore, for one moment, that it's not entirely clear how the Knoppa crib hangs from the ceiling - hardware is NOT provided and you'll have to get some trustworthy handyperson to install it for sure. But that aside, I love the hanging crib idea and the fact that you can adjust the height so that you can rock your little one in the middle of the night by just merely reaching over, without getting out of bed. The crib and graphics remind me the of the Lights Up! line of printed lampshades that I recently bought for the house.

Okay, getting back to that minor little issue of the hanging business, the site also makes this lovely sounding suggestion:

"And if the weather allows why not hang the cradle next to your terrace so you can watch over your little one while still enjoying reading your magazine outside?"

Sounds nice...but how? Where would you hang the crib? Wha? Huh?

We had one of those for our second child. Its neat. You drill a hole in the roof and fasten a hook up there. No biggie...
