Little Flare table

The Little Flare table is all ready for your kids to customise the way they want it. There are three options for the tabletop design - blank, or one of two game layouts - but the legs are the most interesting feature.
They are hollow and transparent, so you can fill them with whatever you want; I can imagine a load of small plastic toys looking good. Alternatively, you can purchase a book of twenty patterned papers to colour in and display within them. You can even purchase the legs without the tabletop, if you'd like to add this feature to your own furniture.
Also available at Twentytwentyone. Prices range from a basic model at £191 to £273 for the printed table top and pen holders where the legs meet the top. The book of colouring sheets is £31.00.

Ah, but Ikea do a similar table - triangular, not rectangular - with screw-off see-through legs. There is a choice of 3 colours of top (red, green and black from what I can remember). Ok so it's made of plastic and doesn't have pen-holders, but is under £10 (US$20).
Of course Ikea's website doesn't let me link directly, but have a search for the IKEA PS BÖLSÖ (side table).
Perhaps not so classy, but maybe just as fun for the littlies, with a less hefty pricetag. (you'll be less upset when they pour their juice down the legs, too!).

Ha! You're right that $20 is far more reasonable and I take your point about the juice. Could be an interesting effect - until it goes rancid.
