Pippa D, felting a cosy world

Pippa D

Pippa D is a Dutch company with a small but very desirable range of clothing, accessories, and children's goods.

The blanket above is typical of their products' bold simplicity. When you're a child, day-to-day objects become imbued with certain associations, and this blanket speaks to me - even in my adulthood - of comfort, familiarity, and warmth. The bright colours and the simple design underline those things.

Also worth a look are the beautiful felted slippers. Perhaps it's the wrong time of the year to be thinking like this, but those slippers, that blanket, and a cup of cocoa by the fire: such things that happy childhood memories are made of.

Do those slippers come in adult sizes? I want the chartreuse ones.

The ones with the orange accent? You surprise me!

Sadly, it seems not. I suppose you could always commission them.
