Fluffizoo

Two things I love for the nursery: playful forms and animals. So naturally I fell in love with these creative critters from Fluffizoo. Each toddler-sized piece is made from a unique high-density foam making them, if not exactly "fluffy," at least invitingly squishy. I found them on an inspired German site, Design3000, which describes them (via Google translation) as great for "sitting, riding and raving." Though I hope not to encourage too much "raving" in my son, maybe it is a good idea to keep it contained to this soft toy. And I am certainly "raving" about the design. No wonder; they're from famed German furniture designer Elmar Floetotto. Choose from Emil the elephant (indigo), Mimmi the mouse (orange), Fiete the fish (yellow), or Max the horse (red). The Google translator goes on to say: "The clear colors and harmonious roundnesses promote the perception ability of the child, the abstract forms energize the fantasy. One can wash off and also in the garden use Fluffizoo easily." Ok, though some of the details may be lost in translation, I get it. They're functional, they're fun, they're fabulous!
