Riposo

RIPOSO_6.jpg

I have to say, practically speaking, I don't get bassinets. Maybe it's because my son was born huge, but I always simply put him in the crib with a sleep positioner. Why buy the extra piece of furniture? That said, from an aesthetic point of view, I completely get bassinets. Baby really does look much cozier in them and they make such nice ones these days.

Case and point, this lovely cot from ART&FORM. Crafted from solid beech with (washable) canvas bed, the Riposo provides a tranquil and snug environment. Not only does it collapse for easy storage, but it actually looks almost as good folded up. So if closet space is limited, just leave it out. I love the design element added by the wheels - another practical feature - as well as the handy storage pockets and mosquito netting. It's truly divine.

I mean, money no object, why not buy a whole extra piece of furniture...especially if it's as nice as this one?

I loved my bassinet. I didnt have to get out of bed to put baby back to sleep after midnight feeding.. this is great!

Hi Abby,

I totally get you there! Only I used a co-sleeper (not the mini one) which I'm still using a year later as a travel bed for my tot. So a bassinet would have been a third sleeping option - there just isn't enough room in our apt! I have many friends who did love them though.
