Sara Fanelli chocolate buttons

fanelli_buttons

Do I approve of chocolate for small children? Not so much. But do I approve of the anarchic, madcap collage style of illustrator Sara Fanelli being applied to a wider range of things? Well, yes I do. So maybe these chocolate buttons from the Tate Gallery shop would be permissable as an extra special treat.

If you're a fan of the style you see here - the mixture of old labels and faded graph paper with loony-looking creatures - and you're not yet familiar with Fanelli's books, then why not take a look at her own site? You can even buy original prints of her work.
