The safety pin wall hook

It's a bit funny how safety pins have become an iconic image associated with babies. Of course, when you really think about it, a safety pin so close to a baby's skin isn't the most comforting of thoughts, especially when you're sleep deprived and walking around like a zombie (oh wait, that's me). I remember my brother toddling around in cloth diapers held up by safety pins and he isn't scarred, so I guess it's safe enough.

I admit to finding something appealing about this big baby pin wall hook. Maybe it's because I have a fondness for common objects in oversized proportions. Or maybe because I find the objects hanging on the hooks so curiously odd - a red heart on a string...and a tiara?

Do you know who the manufacturer/designer is for those baby pins?

I haven't been able to find out the manufacturer, but here it is again, sold at Uncommon Goods - http://www.uncommongoods.com/item/item.jsp?source=family&itemId=15196
