The Square Chair

I've been on an endless search for a chair for our living room, so how much do I love this image? The Square Chair, in both adult and child size, is designed by BDDW, a small furniture company out of Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Their work is impressive - minimal and clean lines allow the richness of the domestic hardwoods to shine. With traditional joints and hand-rubbed finishes, the pieces become instant heirlooms. After flipping through the catalog of work (guys, please make your site easier to use!), I find myself daydreaming about furnishing the whole house with this furniture, particularly the credenzas and the chairs. The photography is spectacular and I love the idea of lining up chairs of the same design, but with different size proportions, against a wall. Stunning.
