Villa Bimbi and Beyond

While browsing in Calypso Baby, the fabulous containers by Villa caught my eye. Though not specifically designed for the nursery, they do make for some pretty stylish toy boxes, or even a storage/seating combo like the one below. Upon further research I found that Villa actually does make a baby or "Bimbi" line that, though limited, is pretty gorgeous. The centerpiece is this wonderful cradle, which is both sleek and serene, perfect for a modern nursery. Choose from birch or dark finish and a cat, dog (looks like a Scottie), or duck cutout. The collection also features some of Villa's beautiful containers with the same critter cutouts. Or, as I said, you could opt for any of their containers and rotate it into the family room after baby goes to college. The only hitch, I could not find one place that sells the Bimbi line, and my inquiries to the company went unanswered. Darn.

P.S. Though no bimbi line, this site does carry a lot of the other containers and furniture.
